View Full Version : oil cooler cover
I've recently fitted an oil cooler to my m620 and am on the look out for a cover. Has anyone bought one or know where I can get one from?

Speak to Stu at Spareshack, I think he can get them from Italy.
I drew this one on my CAD and got it made on a laser but its a limited edition of 2 I'm afraid.

MPS (or Demon Tweeks??) do them for not a lot. £20 - £30 if memory serves. I'll check tomorrow in my catalogue collection at work and let you know. They are specific for the Monster oil cooler.
I think these are the rentec which are in black only, I would prefer a ali look to go with the bike.

www.demon-tweeks.co.uk did them in the 2002 catalogue for £21.95. There is no mention of them being black...
I mailed rentec, they sent a picture and installation instructions (dated 95), they were black and fitments don't look correct. Have had a mail from Stuart (spareshack) he has not yet come across a grill for the radiator on my bike, but is hoping to source some in the next couple of months. Should be going on a visit to ducatis factory first week of June, you never know what we may come across when we are there.

Although I think it's only for the 900 engine, but I suppose the cooler is the same size ??????.

The coller in busters is the rentec version in black. I would say busters catalogue is wrong in showing chrome, the part numbers are as the ones we have had info back from rentec.

I reckon for most Monsters, black would be the better colour anyway.

Advised by Stuart that the 900 had square edges on the cooler, ours are round, plus looking at the picture from rentec the fitment looks different.
