I rode out to box hill yesterday. Went through Box hill village, then to the National Trust park, past the “hill” with the amazing views with loads of people sat around, then down a road (which I think was called Zig zag road?) which was tight and windy, with speed bumps, and kept doubling back on itself. :)

Saw loads of bikes on the road (including a monster, 2 up, in Red I think with bar end mirrors?), but nowhere with bikes parked up or relaxing outside a pub/café. Was I in the right park of the world? Where do the bikes meet out there?

Most bikers are to be found near the roundabout at the base of the hill.

Funny enough I was there both Sat and Sunday.

Saturday being Billy no mates gawking at bikes at the base of the hill and exploring the Surrey roads.

Sunday with the girlfriend chillin on the ''amazing view'' grassy knol up the hill.

I don’t believe that!!

I rode down Zig Zag road Westwards, then got to the B2209, and turned right to go home!!! If only I’d turned left and ridden another 500 yards… :Furious: :banghead:

Spent about 6 hours on the bike yesterday, picked up a new lid on the way, and was so close, yet so far!! :D

same thing happened to me a couple of years ago trying to find the ace cafe.

was right next to it on the north circular and turned left instead of right where the D-Link building is. If only I had looked over my right shoulder back then doh!!!!!!!!
