• PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WHEN ATTENDING A MONSTER MEET/RIDEOUT

    1. All riders ride at their OWN risk.
    2. The UKMOC will not be held liable for any accidents to riders/passengers/motorcycles whatsoever.
    3. You are deemed to be in control of your own motor cycle at all times
    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

Lifted straight from the Dsc site, maybe the last big run before the cold gets here.I'll put up more details later if anyone want to join at different start points.

Scottish region 25 September Galloway run

After the Midgie Masher I'm not making any weather predictions but there will be a run to Galloway on 25 September, starting Ducati Glasgow at 10.00. Route is ...

Kilwinning
Ayr
Girvan
Newton Stewart
Castle Douglas
Dumfries
Lochmaben
Moffat
Biggar
Lanark
....and back to Glasgow

The route is a stoater, apart from the first bit to Ayr before we get on the coast road to Girvan. And I'm dying to hear the racket from the Ducati chorus going through the Clyde Tunnel. We'll aim stop for lunch in Castle Douglas.

Here's hoping for a good turnout like we got on the Masher.

Would love to go (great roads down that way), but its my wives & mums birthday on the 25th (not that they are the same person I hasten to add).

i apear to have typed that incorrectly
