This is an event for bikers on Remembrance Sunday 9th November 2014

The aim is to form a circle of bikers dressed in red riding Clockwise around the M25 making the biggest Poppy in the World.

I've just received my XXXL Red T shirt and its HUGE!

I'm joining the ride at Cobham Services - if anyone else is going from here (weather permitting) please let me know?

All the info is here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cobh...ng-of-Red-Around-the-M25-2014/374793039353656

Sounds good Rich, best to go from Clackets, can ride round after breakfast.

Will need to get xl red T-shirt !

Going from Cobham Alan as a friend is rep for the Cobham meet.
Not sure if coming for breakfast first as was going to ride up with them but if weather is pants I don't want to go up early with them I will go from the café later.

I would have done this but I'm marshalling for Poppy cabs again. With any luck I'll be driving one next year. Please don't rain this Sunday! :)

Didn't realise this was on offer to the Ventrans, nice touch by the cabbies, and I have no doubt you'll be driving them around next year, hope it goes well

Absolutely lovely mark of respect.
I would have loved to have been part of this too but my Monster is in a whole load of bits around my workshop so I'll be going down to my local Memorial for the service this year again as per usual.

Thanks :)

Yep free rides to and from Whitehall for any and all veterans attending the service. Just turn up at any pick up point. They are at all main line London stations plus the Victory Services club Seymour st and Union Jack Club Sandell st

Good work cabbies. Nice touch.

On another note as I'm always out and about I've been to see the field of poppies a few times since they started planting them. Now I sometimes go that way just to see the crowds! If anyone is thinking of popping by before they remove them on the 12th I would recommend very early morning, 7 or 8am!

I've been a couple of times late at night, they look awesome lit up

Went last week in the poring rain so the crowds were not so bad then across the the imperial war museum.

So who is doing the ride today ?
