Sometimes it can be a tricky transition from 4 cylinder to V twin….they can feel a bit “lumpy” ….it’s a different experience. I suspect the Beemer might be a bit quicker….the Duc will probably be more of a “bend swinger”. Welcome aboard, let us know your initial thoughts .😋

Cheers, the BMW was 200kg where as the Duke is 186,been looking at some post about tyre pressures to reduce vibration, 30 psi front 32 rear probably try that, need to set preload for my weight also,am looking forward to the new feel of the Duke

Well it's said that the off-beat sound of a V engine is reminiscent of your mother's heartbeat. Not convinced by that myself, but a Vee twin sure as hell sounds infinitely more soulful than your usual in-line four.
Enjoy the ride and the sound track.

Nice one, took the bike out yesterday (Sunday)140 miles OMG it’s fantastic to ride the thing is I was reading to much into other ppls opinion on the monster and before I had ridden it I was expecting a horror ride, not the case i absolutely loved every twist of the throttle,I lowered my tyre pressures to 32 psi front and rear and adjusted the compression to 10 clicks from full in.any advice or tips welcome 👍

Ordered a de-cat pipe of the tinternet as the baffles on the cans are not removable even though it sounds the dogs I just want a bit more😂👍
