MotoGP - who is the best

Very interesting, I agree with JT, VR was a proper character and put on a great show on and off the track. I think Simoncelli would have been much the same but his life was cut short.
I never took to Marc until he sat on a Ducati and took it to the others, now on a factory bike he's really sticking to the rest of the field, I wish him well.
As time and technology moves forward champions come and go but for me there is only one GOAT, Valantino. In F1 that man is Schumacher.

Difficult to argue about VR46 ‘s credentials…he’s definitely the reason that popularity of MOTO GP rose so much after Y2K…..MM will probably match and surpass his numbers…”the best rider on the best bike” etc etc…..strength of mind always seems to be the defining element in champions….think Tiger Woods, Nicklaus etc. Also the opposition during any career is important….imagine a grid with Rossi, Marquez, Lorenzo and Stoner….now that would have been worth watching.
Interesting articles comparing the attendance at the weekend of Silverstone and Le Mans….more than 3 times as many at Le Mans….although it seems that the riders like it, I don’t rate spectating at Silverstone, too far from the track, too long a lap (over 2 minutes)….Donnington is much more bike friendly ….
Hopefully DORNA can persuade more manufacturers to join the series as it looks like the writing is on the wall for KTM….😕
