So, I took some 70's era polished ali BMW indicators off my Guzzi as they really didn't suit it and were so wrong.
Learning that they are quite valuable, being so rare these day, I bunged them on ebay together with some spare black plastic cases of the same design.
I stuck my neck out and listed them for £150 based on the price of the few scruffy individual ones presently on ebay.

I was amazed at the views and watchers racking up and I soon had an enquiry offering me £100.
Bit cheeky I thought, but remained civil and replied politely refusing the offer.
He thought for a while and offered me £125.
So I also thought for a while and then offered him just the set of 4 ali indicators for £125 plus post, since he appeared to only be interested in the ali ones.
He was silent for a couple of days..

This morning I find that I've sold the lot for the asking price and I get packing... Happy days.
As I am doing so a message drops in from Mr Haggler. " Being greedy sir!... If they were that much of a bargain they would already be gone."

That did make me chuckle, so I replied..
"Being tight sir... They've already gone." :ROFLMAO:

I always seem to have some bits up on fleabay always priced to sell, and I always get super low offers. The funny thing is if you say OK if you give an extra £5, you never get a sale. So good to hear you came out on top of that bargain hunter in such a poetic way.
