Been wanting to go for years so riding down solo on Thursday 12th, meeting up with various people will be camping in Tertre Rouge (http://beermountain.com/index.php?page=Tertre-Rouge)
Anyone else going ?

It was an awful long way on an LC Yam too, fuel stops almost as often on a monster lol

Enjoy it - weather forecast is good - I'm popping up to Le Mans tomorrow to get some bits for the jets but will be spending the weekend at the lake .... as far away from the sun-burnt and drunk foreigners as possible, lol

24 hour on juice will be entertaining not sure I will make the grade :dizzy:

What a blast and no hangovers

Ride down on Thursday took 6 hours via Rouen on E402 with some great views and clear roads, enjoyed playing and rolling throttle with few sections of WOT, lots of thumbs up from soft top drivers as I went past. Watched night qualifying from Dunlop grandstand.
Friday pit lane walk then rode around as much of circuit as possible with funky monkey's before lunch at bar on Mulsanne straight then visited classic car show and watched drivers parade in evening.
Saturday watched start at Mulsanne straight from bar then onto Mulsanne corner then it rained and we got soaked riding bikes, further viewing at Porsche curves and Ford chicane.
Watched England game :scratch: then watched at Tertre Rouge as sun come up :thumbsup: , viewed finish at grandstand.
Monday another 6 hour ride back to Calais via Paris on E50 & E19, enjoyed tunnels on A86 Paris ring road :mand:, arrived back in blighty to overcast and showers , cracking experience highly recommended. cheers :booze:

I will do it one day. Maybe in 2 years time as next years TT again for me. Glad you enjoyed it. No hangover means not enough beer then.
