• PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WHEN ATTENDING A MONSTER MEET/RIDEOUT

    1. All riders ride at their OWN risk.
    2. The UKMOC will not be held liable for any accidents to riders/passengers/motorcycles whatsoever.
    3. You are deemed to be in control of your own motor cycle at all times
    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

We’re nudging the June meet to the 15th as there are a couple of events on the 8th that might be of interest to some folks.

8th June 10am -4pm Brimbo Autojumble and show. Lophams playing field. IP22 2LP.

This is near Kenninghall between North and South Lopham.

Hoping to meet some other members there for a natter and a maybe a cuppa after at The Marketplace?

On the same day is the Skeyton Goat classic show at, er, Skeyton. Not far from former RAF Coltishal. (Now Badersfield)

I’m hoping to make it to both events, so I might see you at one of them.

June Meet.

June 15th, 10.30am, Hillcrest Nurseries Café, Stanton. IP31 2DU.

As before, please give me a nod if you can, and I’ll try and book a big enough table. 😊

Hope to catch up with you there.

Gary, I'm up for the 15th, unless I get a last minute invite from my kids to a slap up father's day meal 🤣
Let me know what time you plan to be at the Marketplace and I'll.try to get there to meet.
Dave

I haven't exactly got a plan Dave, beyond wandering round the autojumble and see who I bump into. So it would be difficult to pin down a time.
If it's really dull I would probably slide away early and make for Skeyton, but bump into an old pal or make a new one and get nattering and you never know!
Best bet is probably to call into the autojumble and drop me a text, but I could be heading for the gate by 10.30 if I get bored.

Ok Gary, no worries I'll catch up with you on the 15th.
Can I get a 30th anniversary badge, if you've got any left. Mine got lost on the IoM
Dave

No problem. I nearly always have some badges and key fobs on me at meets.
That's at least two UKMOC badges lost on the island that I know of!

Weather not looking great for this weekend!

The weather turned out fine. I went over some damp roads on the way home, but very patchy, more dry than wet. I think I got 20 drops of rain on me, maybe 22 but I don't want to exaggerate!
Great to see UnkleDuke, DaveR and Dacs again and also to welcome Richard (796.) and Walter (950+) for the first time.
Smashing uncontrolled banter as usual, great food, company and weather... What's not to like?

Foreground; Richard's Kawasaki until the 796 is ready for the road, Walter with 950+, Roger retrieving his handbag, my M900Sie hiding, DaveR with M1100S and Roger's Triumph representing the infamous Triumph Splinter Group. Dacs was house sitting nearby and forgot to bring a bike. ;)

I think it's over to Arbuckle's at Downham Market for July 13th.
A little pilgrimage to Wimbotsham is on the cards after breakfast to check on Capo's bench.
