Hi
I’m looking for recommendations for a headstock paddock stand for our newly acquired M900.
Want to remove forks to replace seals so the under fork stand we have is a no go.
Ta.

I have several times successfully used a trolley jack and a softwood block under the front exhaust pipe. With the wheel quickly removed (after already removing calipers & mudguard) there’s not much weight on the pipe, and even less after the forks come off. If you have engine mounting crash bungs fitted, you can also use a wooden batten/plank under them.
(On my ST4 I simply use car axle stands under the forks, and remove the fork legs one at a time to work on them).

I bought a cheap, ebay special some years back and it works perfectly on all my bikes, nice and stable and easy to use though I did have to make an extra large pin for the 916 as the selection supplied didn't go that large.

The only deterioration it's seen is the red paint has faded with age but otherwise still good.

Worth getting something solid because it could be a while on there and you don't want it slipping off.

Still waiting for delivery.
Will report back when it arrives.
For an M900 so diameter of hole is approximately 17.5 mm.

Mine had 4 or 5 different pins, including a 17mm which fits the Monster but there was also a 16.5mm which I generally use because it also fits the Guzzi whilst not rattling around on the Monster so avoids swapping too often.

Only for the 916 which has an Ohlins yoke (standard 916 yoke has no hole) with a much larger hole do I need to change pins, there wasn't one big enough for a secure fit but, luckily I had a length of 28.5mm aluminium bar laying around which was perfect so I drilled/riveted/ground it to fit over one of the smaller pins, works great.
