OK, nice simple question...... How much does a 1st/2nd generation bare steel petrol tank weigh?

A random answer but my 748R's tank weighs about 4.5kg, it holds about 17 litres of fuel
A 750IE tank holds a similar volume of about 14 litres so I'd be going for a best guess of around 4-5 kg.

If you asked Utopia nicely he would probably weigh a carbon fibre tank for you.
I'm guessing that's where this is heading?
