I decided to add to my monster 937 after selling my 1969 Triumph tiger 100 so i bought a Ducati st2 partly because i had a new one in 2003 and it was very comfortable
on long runs and while ive done 22,000 on the monster i fancied another st2 , trouble is i last had one 22 years ago and now its not so comfortable !! could be due to me being 69 lol . Anyway what i need is a pair of bar riser blocks that fit under the bars and the only place i can find them is the Trumpland pah. So if anyone has a pair
let me know and i will pay your price.....cheers.

I've often considered an ST2 or even an ST3 but never bitten the bullet, although I have test ridden one.
I've called out to my ST guru mate who runs liST, which is an ST owners group.
Hopefully he'll have some tips if he's not off touring again!
In the meantime I can only suggest creating an ebay search with email notification.

Already heard back from my mate.

"I've certainly been round the bar-riser business on my ST4. The standard fairing/screen does definitely restrict the use of simple raiser blocks beneath the OEM bars. I fitted the DB Comfort Kit screen and top fairing that came with puny 10mm blocks so I got my own made at 35mm but there were clearance and cable issues. Eventually I opted for a higher one-piece bar conversion from a mate in the US, so I may have some spacers tucked away somewhere. There is a Euro concern that offers a new top yoke and bars for the ST3 which might also fit the ST2. We had that on my wife's ST3 and it was well-made but that bike is long-gone.

Hope this helps!"

I might see him sometime this week if things pan out. I'll keep you informed.

Thanks Gary , i have seen quite a few with the riser blocks 12mm high which isn't brilliant but its better than nothing as i like the standard
screen and clip on bars . See you on Sunday ...

it's a pain from my ST4 experience, and as Gazza's mate says, the issue being if you raise the bars 35mm the clutch lever and front brake lever will likely foul on the cockpit fairing as you seek full lock, I purchased the ABM Superbike top yoke conversion but that was found unsatisfactory as the bars I chose continued to foul on the standard screen. You'll need the DP "Comfort " fairing for greater bar clearance however I personally found the "Comfort" aspect lacking as it directed the windblast into my face, of course that may depend how tall you are.

I'll be seeing Nick tomorrow if he's in.
I might even be able to persuade him to pop in to the meeting on Sunday, it's not very far from his.

Good as the ST2 is, the trouble with the "Sports Tourer" concept is that sometimes you get the worst of both worlds!

I've done many long trips with my M900Sie and it's always been comfortable and able to haul the luggage I need with panniers and a tail pack.
I did seriously consider an ST2 after the Cumbrian Weekender with two half days and a full day of riding in torrential rain. But I dried out and got over it.. :sneaky:

i know what you mean i went to the manx gp last year and it was horrendous weather wise including my ferry crossing moved
from 9pm to 1am so we were kept out in torrential rain , when we got to the iom at 4am it was even worse a massive storm, lightening
hail gale force winds the whole nine yards .Trouble with the 937 is that even though it is an amazing tear up machine is has zero practicality
due to the composite subframe a carrier is a no no so i managed with a large oxford roll bag , but it wasn't ideal whereas the ST has a very effective fairing allowing 80+ on a windy day to Newark and back on Sunday (162 miles) . I love em both just need the bars a bit higher .
