• PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WHEN ATTENDING A MONSTER MEET/RIDEOUT

    1. All riders ride at their OWN risk.
    2. The UKMOC will not be held liable for any accidents to riders/passengers/motorcycles whatsoever.
    3. You are deemed to be in control of your own motor cycle at all times
    4. Please let the ride leader know, if you are intending to 'peel off' en-route.

    ADVICE FOR THOSE LEADING RIDEOUTS

    1. Make yourself known to all persons who intend to rideout with you.
    2. We recommend the 'Drop-Off' system for group rides.
    3. Find out if everyone has ridden in a group before - if not explain any relevant info.
    4. Ensure all have enough fuel - and locate nearest garages to the meet point.
    5. Ask everybody to ride slightly 'off-set' - eg - do not directly follow the bike in front WHERE POSSIBLE. (this leaves extra braking room).
    6. HAVE FUN!

Guys,

Could someone let me know who the scottish area rep is?

I've rummaged about but can't find the info anywhere.

Cheers!

Scott

It could be you!!

:D No jocko rep as far as I know(and as last year the biggest meet i know off consisted of two of us i don't think we need one)

Berto,

That, to me, sounds like all the more reason to get a scottish rep.

Cheers!

Scott

P.S. Any ideas how many Monsterers are in Scotland?

I had made a few enquiries to take on this position last year, around April.
Unfortunately, the blind Peugeot 206 driver who pulled out directly in front of me during May 2003 put paid to that!
...and I'm STILL bikeless - sob :(

Just cos I talk a lot, it doesn't make me the Scottish Rep!!
How many of us up here are there anyway?

PS next event is the BSB at Knockhill on 4th July. I'll be marshalling as usual!

Lona,

A few of us will be at the Ducati display truck - come and say hello!

Cheers!

Scott
P.S. Berto will be there too, ignore him, the rest of us do :bunny:

Knockhill, a short hop from Geordieland!
If you are going on Sunday in a car get there dead early, as the queues of cars are horrendous. Additionally as you have to park miles away and get a "Courtesy" bus. alternatively, come on your bike (ooerr), as you can then park on the circuit.

Lona, I'm thinking about bringing the baby, only the thought of putting it anywhere near the Ducati display truck is not a good idea. It's hardly a show bike!!

 We at DUCATIGLASGOW will have a Ducati only parking area at the Ducati truck next to the hairpin....We cannot guarantee to keep out the less desirable members of the d.s.c(discrimanation laws...you know!!!)Jonny bags eh Scottie.......
