Allens Performance is no more

Not surprised with their dire customer service. Always seemed to get mixed reviews from everyone I know - some loved them and some hated them. Ordered some carbs from there, waited 6 months for nothing and then went elsewhere.

Still a shame to see them go, I only dealt with them once when I wanted some Keihin jets. No complaints from me, just a 10 minute ride away and they had them in stock so all good.

Allens was always blocking other distibuters in UK and held an almost monopoly position and charged very high prices, Im suprised he failed but his attitude to customers service was shocking , apparently Companies house and HMRC have ordered a company closure due to no accounts for 3 years , unpaid tax etc .

I am now trying to get some Y6 emulsion tubes for my 750ss Mikuni CV BDST 38 carbs from NRP but he does not answer his phone or Emails ,,either ????

I may need some replacement spares for a dynojet kit for my M750 too but no one seems to stock spares for Dynojet

Not sure if these are any good -

I bought from him before but got ripped off on postage , UK customs and post office handling charges ,, wont use him again ,

I have now managed to order 2, Y6 emulsion tubes for a Cagiva 750 elephant that uses Mikuni 38mm BDST same as 750ss from NRP ,,, he says none for Ducati in stock but then says these for Cagiva are same .as used in Monster 600 and 750ss and M 750 ... hmm anyway we will see??????

I bought a TPS kit for my Keihins from Frank MX, no problems at all and very helpful with advice - even sent me some freebies but this was before Brexit so no VAT on import.

Can be a tricky business getting spares listed for different machines, that are apparently the same. Often you don't really know till you've fitted them. So good luck with that.

The Mikuni part numbers are the same ??? we will see
