Selling my S2R 800 to fund another project. I've bought the bike in 2022 with 2611 miles on it, it was in a collection off road for the previous 10 years.
The bile overall is in very good, I'd say excellent, condition. Mot'ed till April 2027 and currently has 8514 miles on it. Oil and filter change before storage every winter. Cam belts changed this winter.
I had this as a project so have carried out a good few upgrades thus (but not limited to):
Engine related: full Arrows system, modified air box cover with K&M filter, Iridium plugs and upgraded leads and variable cam twist grip. Setup was then tuned on a rolling road, 2hp gain but much smoother thru' the revs and removed lumpy low revs. Oberon clutch slave cylinder fitted.
Handling upgrades: fitted 1000cc front brakes so larger discs and 4 pot calipers, Andreani adjustable fork cartridges, adjustable steering damper, Nitron rear shock. Tyre Are Metz Roadtec 02 SE's, guess 2-3000 miles still on them. After changes whole bike was set up by a race bike company for front rear. preloads etc. R&G crash protection.
Electrical changes: LED front and tail lights, indicators, MOSFET rectifier and upgraded started motor/battery cables.
Cosmetic changes: Carbon for things like chain guards, foot peg kickers, rear hugger, side panels etc. Chin fairing colour matched to rest of bike (fitted with more sturdy brackets as supplied items were a bit naff!). Black engine cover bolts, Adjustable clutch and brake levers, bar end mirrors, Barracuda tail tidy and tray (no cutting for frame). Rear sprocket spider, rare wheel nuts, front spindle nuts, and a couple of other items replaced with Ali (typically Ducabike) alternatives.
Have original manuals, Red key etc.
Asking £4200 for this bike. It is I feel a good example, very nice ride. Open to offers or removal of associated loose parts.
