Tyre fitters in West London?
Hi all
Does anyone know of a decent (see cheap) tyre fitter in or around West London (Heathrow way). I've managed to pick up a couple of Bridgestone BT-020's and just need somewhere to fit them. Looked at my mileage today and my poor old original Dunlops have now done over 9900 miles and with all the rain coming I really need to get them done soon Cheers Dark-Jon |

You could try Feltham Tyres on The Causeway in Feltham......but dont forget, its best if you take the wheels off and take em along

somewhere in deepest Chertsey lies the bestest, most considerate and economical tyre fitter in the world, probably!

Ok, next question
How do I get my wheels off and how do I stop the bike falling over without them? I am mechanically competant but this is still my first bike so have no idea, especially about putting the rear wheel back on and adjusting the chain. Safer to get someone else to do it?? Dark-Jon |

Take tires & bike to HGB tires in Ruislip, just by Northolt RAF main gate, on the corner, next to the Texaco station.

DJ,
if you're really stuck I've got a bikelift with the fittings for a monster. You can come over to Greenford and we can take the wheels out and take them to a fitters. SimonH |

Yeah, ride to HGB in Ruislip and they will do it for you i'm sure. I have used them before and they do cash jobs when not busy...

I would not trust HGB to do the work, Feltham is the place to go. see the one armed fitter work, he is bloody amazing.
