Negative Terminal Melted
Whilst checking the battery on my '98 900 I've noticed that half of the negative terminal on the battery has melted away
Could this be caused by a faulty regulator/rectifier or could another problem be lurking un-noticed somewhere |

Sounds nasty, i'd change the battery and redo the connections on it.
It could have been caused by something as simple as a bad joint on the neagtive terminal causing a bit of heat. Good luck. Shandy |

Might also be battery acid eating it away. Worth checking!
