BMW replacement headlight glass

Can anyone remember the exact model BMW that uses the same headlight glass as the Monster?

Thanks

Bry...

Monster headlamp glass: BMW R100S, part no. 63121358147. Bosch part numbers for Monster headlight glass & reflector (not available separately from Ducati) are 1305604904 (Glass) and 1305304903 (Reflector) They are not cheap (about £45 and £60 respectively) but less than a complete unit.

I replaced my lens a couple of weeks ago. Purchased from MOTO-Bins Ltd Part Number 80200 H/Light Lens (including rubber seal) Large BMW twins 1974 £19 plus £1.65 carriage, plus VAT 3.61 Total Paid £24.26. The lens , the markins etc, etc are exactly the same as the one that came off the bike.
E Mail sales@motobins.co.uk.

Got the info off Pedro who has also used Moto-Bins Ltd

If the glass fits does that mean the collar that holds it does too? Or is the screw thread different? My collar is all rusty and a BMW replacement may come in cheaper than the double headlights...

Perfect replacement for the glass!!!

I have a 98 M600 dark, and on the lovely roads here Cork, Ireland it was inevitable that a rock would punch a nice hole in my headlamp. However thanks to the sage advice from this forum I was able to save 282.47euro, the cost of replacing the entire headlamp unit, since for some unknown reason Ducati won't sell those parts separately. Moto-Bins provided the exact replacement Bosch headlamp glass, including the seal for 40euro/28sterling including shipping to IRL. I'm absolutely delighted!

A sentence with the words 'wallets' and 'moths' in it springs to mind after reading this thread
