Which pads ??

Brembo, EBC, or a n other, what`s the general thought here ?

I've got a 750 and when after a proper "Biker's Blast" they were shot to pieces, I replaced them with EBC Pads.

I bought them online from the EBCdirect website. Mine were FA95 Non Asbestos Organic Pads (Kevlar) & Sintered "R" Suffix Pads at £12.50 plus vat and £4.31 shipping costs (19.76 all in). My local Bike shop had them in stock and quoted me £39.50! Dead easy to replace if you take the caliper off the disk!

I regularly ride out with a bunch of total headcases on 900's and S4's and the brakes seem to be holding up well.

Don't know about Brembo's......any comments from other members??

I've always used Brembo Pads, so I would'nt know about the others, but after the track day, any of the others would have to be very special for me to change to them, as they must be good to slow down the combined weight of my S4 and my 19 1/2 stone all day without any fade, blue'd the disc's
though !!!

are the brems significantly more pricey?

Yeah, so I think it ma be time to look at a less expensive alternative, but saying that, the Brembo's do tend to last quite a while ???.

I use Brembos on my 900ss and they're very, very good, no brake fade at all, and they do last well. They are slightly pricy though, haven't found a cheap supplier yet, so I've a set of EBC HH pads to go on next, £16.50 a side from Busters, good reviews. Another pad rated by many is the Carbon Lorraine.

Should be brembo rich unless i'm mistaken (or unless you,ve changed them).
For my money, ebc do just fine on the brake pads, and htey're a lot cheaper.

Kev..ive got some brembo/genuine ducati pads for the 'twin pin' calipers 30% off list price if thats of interest mate..

I lika de Brembo's, innit? MPS do 'em for £19 a pair. Well did a coupla years back, so I got Daytona to match it, which they did...

Think you probably are Kev as your bikes quite new...go and have a look mate..if the pads are held in by 2 pins then your on to a NIT stylee bargain mate..!!
