Speedo on the blink
I was just getting up to speed this morning, when all of a sudden my speedo died and went to zero. The mileage is working okay, and the dial does move, but completlely innaccurately. Has anyone had this problem? Fuse or loose wire or what?

I had a problem last year where my speedo (on a M620ie) decided to start reading
slow by 20 mph or so. After the dial sweep when you switch it on, the needle came to rest way below th 0mph mark, and read about that distance slow from then on... The clocks were changed under warranty, and are fine now.. Hope yours is still in warranty ! |

after a number of telephone calls, a bit of haggling, and a short wait, I managed to get this done under warranty, and by the good men at Daytona (Angel/Kings Cross)....who say's there ain't a god?
Might I also add that the punks at Ducati South told me to stick it where it hurts. First AND last time I call them! Small print in the warranty said you need to report within 7 days, so I guess I was still within my rights anyway. (not anymore though ha ha...let's hope she stays together!) |
