Mirror threads

Had the new style 2004 mirrors fitted to my 2003 620sie. Managed to break one (the joint and the glass) whilst pulling the cover over the bike. I'm hopefully picking a replacement up from Daytonna this pm but I was wondering if the mirrors unscrew in the ususal way (anticlockwise). It's the right hand mirror by the way..
