Stainless steel foothangers
Is anyone interested in changing their footrest hangers and gear lever bolt to stainless steel as I have done some measurements and done a drawing (not the best drawing) and have contacted Inox of southampton (John Kemp) and he says he can get them made for £4.50 each if he get an order of 100.
If anyone is interested and would like to cheque my drawing and measurements then we can go from there. I have put the drawing in as an attachment. These measurements are from 02 Monster S4 4 at this size A = Pan Head depth 0 to 4mm in height B = Non threaded area 19mm in length C = Non threaded area Diameter 12.5mm D = Threaded area is M8x29x1.25mm E = Pan head outer Diameter is 25 mm with a Allen socket size of 6mm. 4 at this size A = Pan head depth 0 to 4mm in height B = Non threaded area 19mm in length C = Non threaded area Diameter 12.5mm D = Threaded area is M10x34x1.50mm E = Pan head outer Diameter is 25mm with a Allen socket size of 6mm. And finally 1 at this size A = Pan head depth 0 to 3mm in height B = Non threaded area 22mm in length C = Non threaded area Diameter 19mm D = Threaded area is M8x14 x1.25mm E = Pan head outer Diameter 19mm with a Allen socket size of 6mm. |

Hi stevej, will find out. Please bear in mind that these measurements are based on footrest hangers with the deep spacers for High level cans.

Foothangers
Hi Stevej, but what I have been thinking is perhaps if someone can get the measurements for the bolts that are used with low level cans as they are shorter then I can approach this guy and see if he will do all the different sizes, on perhaps the same deal (minimun order 100). Then we can go from there and he says they can be what ever grade we decide. I,m easy with what ever gade as long as it does not corode.

Steve
give me a few days and I'll draw up some pukka engineering drawings on Autocad. If your man has a CNC, he can probably use the file to write the program. I've got the top bolts drawn buthadn't realised the lower ones were different. Ped
