Pipe Dream or Not?
Hello everyone...
Have any of you ever tried, considered or been able to put 916/748/996/998 exhaust onto a Monster? Is it possible? Or is it just a Pipe dream? What modifications to the Monster and Pipes would probably be necessary (i.e. under seat shielding or seat replacement, specialy made pipes upto the exhausts)? I ask because I am thinking of trying it on an older Monster and then on Newer one, if its possible... Your advice and humour are always appreciated. Plenty of folks on here have custom underseat setups so I gues 916 types don't quite fit.

I think a lot of people have looked but come up against the same problem.
Not enough space. You would have to raise the rear subframe up a fair amount to get the space once the suspension has compressed. Check out the monster weekend pictures thread for Simons4's bike. Crust |
