As the S4 uses a gear-driven speedo I hope that you've been sold the correct kit with the adapter??
Normally these things (both Datatool and Akumen) use a signal from an electronic speedo and electronic rev counter to determine the gear selection. With the gear driven speedos an adapter is put in-line with the speedo cable and sends an electronic pulse to the unit. Is this the case with yours? Cheers. Lee. |
