M696 Enigine Oil

what oil would you recommend and or are you using in your M696.

I understand that the wet APTC clutch being somewhat 'different' needs the 'right' oil or it can start to slip and not disengage cleanly giving clunky gear changes.

Any oil that is of JASO-MA2 standard will be just fine. The book says 15W-50 but 10W-40 is also acceptable, there is a table in the service manual of temperature ranges against oil weight.
