Monster 821 fuel reserve range?

Anyone pushed it to the limit?

The manual says 2.5 litres, which with 55mpg ish is around 25-30 miles (I think) but is that filling the tank on the side stand or standing the bike upright and filling to the bottom of the neck as per the manual?

Maybe I should just strap a fuel can on and go try it, haven't had the bottle to do more than 11 miles so far and that then gave me a 13.75 litre fill up on the side stand.

Sorry I am bored and drinking wine....

Think I've done around 30 miles on "empty" on my 796, which has been mapped for fun, not efficiency.

Was a nervous 30 miles

To obvious

Much easier on the R80, if you had to switch the second tap to reserve it was time to find a garage NOW!
