DPP Rear Sets for 1100 Evo

Fitted my DPP test sets I bought from Max on here, did not come with instructions, but pretty simple to fit. Not been out on her yet, off to Mallory to watch my mate race race in the DD series, so will check them
out then.

Look good. Black is nice. Ride should be more comfy. Can I say as my mistake try something radical in position right high and back because I had a go of my 1100 and Martin put them more high and was really better. I think my mind was on catering for a pillion though. If not the lean forward over the tank is better.

Is there any issues with undoing the (I think) swing arm pivot nuts? is it a nut either side that goes on to threaded bolt? or doe the bolt need to come through pone side or anything scary like that

Cheers

Swingarm nut is fine to undo, is almost just a secondary support and no removal is needed

Cheers Pompone

Can't wait for the rearsets to turn up now.

What's the lead time on them? (no pressure pompone....honest).

As Max said, no issues with the large bolts, just make sure you copperslip them and torque them up to the correct torque setting.

I also cover the nut with PTFE tape or electrical tape, reduce the slip of the socket and possibility of marking them

Oooops, thanks Max, forgot to add that, I use electrcal tape and I use a hex socket, not a multi point socket as the multi point socket will most likley mark the anodising.

I have found a gear linkage bar in my box of bit's and by putting a bend in it near the gear lever end, I was able to get the bike into race shift which I prefer.

Just need to get a spare anodized rod from Pompone and do the same to it.
