broken 620 monster clocks

Hi guys, i have recently purchased a 2003 m620ie. It was a non runner and did not come with the code card for the immobilizer. I do have the red key. The dash was cracked and had some moisture in them. I have managed to get the bike to run by removing the dash completely and when the dash is reconnected the bike will not start. I want to replace the dash with an aftermarket set as these are a lot cheaper than new ducati ones and will not need to be coded into the ecu. has anyone else replaced their dash? Any helpful hints?

The Dash, ECU & Transponder (in the ignition key) all need to be matched to disarm the immobiliser.

The bike starts without the dash being connected But when its reconnected it wont start. Im wondering if anyone has had this happen and whether anyone had put on aftermarket clocks?

If the bike starts and runs ok without the oem dash then I'd presume you can bung on any after market clocks you like. The usual issue is the immobiliser circuit which doesn't seem to be a problem on yours.
