JP Diag Siemens M3C ECU

For those that are not aware the genius of a chap, JP now has the Siemens M3C ECU (i.e. 696, 796, 1100) covered in his diagnostic software !

Join his now resurrected forum for all the info. Basically you need a ELM327 diagnostic lead (widely available on tinternet) and a DDA lead available from Lonelec.

I have connected to my M1100 and am just waiting for my free licence to be able to fully exploit the programme.

Hats off to JP, I really admire people with the ingenuity to come up with stuff like this for the use of us mere mortals. Although free to use, a donation would be most appropriate.

The website address is .....http://jpdiag.xooit.eu/index.php That should take you there.

Copy and paste into google if you can't locate it. It contains a mix of French/English.

JP Diag was always available all be it in Guzzidiag form. You could use it on Ducati's as long as you found a Guzzi with the same version of ECU.
I have been keeping an eye on JP's progress with the Siemens ECU and he reported in December he would have it sorted soon, and hey presto he has!

Yes I used Tuneecu, another brilliant programme for KTM, Triumph and some Aprilias. You could also delete O2 sensors, SAS etc to suit pipe, filter etc changes and remap your own bike.

Hi Steve

Received my Lonelec package today and it has 3 pin plug not DDA lead

I cannot find the DDA lead on their website (Is it the Multistrada lead they cleverly show so you cannot see it's configuration) ?

Right bumping this thread with a question

I bought this and already had this

I have tried all of the cable configs in the JPdiag application but can't get it to see my cable.

I have installed the drivers from here but I am getting nothing.

Any pro tips from you users please?

Hi Jonzi

it needs an ELM327 interface

won't work with normal Vagcom type cables (same as tuneecu)
