I want to... but...

"UK Outlook for Thursday 30 Jan 2014 to Thursday 13 Feb 2014:

Current indications point towards changeable conditions persisting through the end of January and into early February. The most likely scenario during this period would see northwestern parts of the UK affected by the most frequent bouts of unsettled and windy weather. Meanwhile southern and eastern regions should tend to see the most prolonged spells of drier and brighter conditions. Some periods of colder weather are likely, particularly between weather systems, meaning that temperatures overall may well be near or a little below normal."

sounds like they haven't got a clue what the weather will be like!

I was at Snetterton, then Oulton Park last year at this time

It was blood freezing

Snetterton was rubbish. But Oulton was good

Ah ok. I will check with the weather and the father (who has a van). This means I only need to wear my race suit when I'm riding, but Brands is a possibility...

I may be able to convince my mate to go, but he's never tracked and it would mean hiring a van.

Since when has mid February been Spring?

I fancy Brands for my first outing on the NC30 - but it won't be ready until March/April

Gary, I've got a freshly powder coated '30 front wheel, in white, that you're welcome to have, if you want it.

Got it for my RC' as it's a 3.5" wheel and the RC's are 3" but sold the bike some time ago.

I'm in Stone, so not far away.

Andy
