Clutch
The time is coming for a new clutch pack, basket and plates, I will replace everything, what are the pro's and con's of a alloy basket/plates. its rated as being quieter, but to be honest I like the rattle of steel's being as there is only £30 differance in complete kits are the alloys better and the claimed longer life that much longer?
I rate myself as being easy on clutchs, as I do have mechanical sympathy Last edited by PDS; 09-06-2013 at 05:25 AM.. |

Alloy clutch assembly is lighter so engine will spin up faster, plus some weight loss...
