Flattrack - who'd like to have a go on UKMOC only day?

Some of you may have read about our Flattrack Training Day a few of us did the other week. Anyway, we all thought it was a great day and could possibly make an ideal event to do with the club. We've been in touch with Pete Boast who runs the school and they can offer us an exclusive day if we can get together 16 people who want to have a go. That will work out at £120 each, which includes the use of their bikes, steel shoe and food. As the venue availability at the weekends is difficult (it's an indoor equestrian centre), it will most likely be a Friday and as the Summer is pretty busy for most people, we thought a date in the Autumn might be better, especially as it's indoors and not affected by the weather.

Just wanted to say I had a awesome day at the flat track school last month and yes I am looking forward to going again. (as long as date does not clash with wedding etc)

I don't see any reason why not! Put their names down and we'll see how many people we get in the end. I can't stress enough how much of a fun day this is, I think you'll all have a ball and learn something in the bargain!

In terms of the date, I thought a date in October might be good, subject to availability etc. I know it's all a bit vague, but once we know we've got the numbers we can get back to Pete and firm things up. Anyway let me know if anyone has any preferences.
