Essex/Suffolk Meet.

I thought it was time to see if we can get a regular Essex/Suffolk meet going!

I'm suggesting we meet at Finchingfield on the 7th of april at 10.30am, by the green opposite the pond. There is a great cafe which serves coffee, tea and bacon butties.

Who's up for it.

Grumpy.

Hi, I will not have the bike up and running, but if you don't mine me turning up on 4 wheels I should be able to make it. Look forward to seeing you.

Still too cold for me.

I'm sure I'm stating the obvious here but be a bit careful, I went for a drive through Finchingfield and the surrounding area last week and some of the roads are in a shocking state, especially at the sides, lots of loose crap everywhere and some major potholes that weren't there last year.

It's not just the cold....

I've just been out this morning and my bike is now worth NOTHING as it got completely caked in salt and has dissolved into a fizzing pile of goo with a wheel at each end.

Miffed.

Oh great ....... Not good..
Is it not wise to hit somewhere on the main road then..just for that Sunday.

Some of the roads on the outskirts here are like gravel beds .
Yes lots of salt on road .... My bike is ACF 50 all winter until its gone I'm afraid .
Rather it be gunky then dissolving.
I was in the car on some back roads and it was still shocking.
