Sorry to hear - have they put it in a cast or did you get away with a velcro-ed splint? I had similar 2 years ago - was told to exercise normally too early which set me back about a month - hope yours is quick - so many factors will affect healing time, mine was around 3 month overall. Hope you don't smoke

Haha, they let me have a splint luckily, though I was offered a cast. Coincidentally I've only fractured two bones in my life (not counting a few ribs) and the other was my other wrist. I remember that was usable after 6 weeks and this don't feel as bad somehow so I am hoping it will heal quickly.

The biggest annoyance over Christmas was... handshakes! It's my right hand so I had to greet everyone with an appallingly wet left handed shake. Made me feel like a right cripple.

Sorry to hear agout the wrist. I broke the scaphoid bone in my left wrist which is a difficult injury to heal. Ended up in plaster and using public transport for 12 weeks, as I wasn't cleared by DVLA and insurance to drive Out of interest did you resolve the issue at the dealers with the leaky radiator on the S4R?

Actually, I did - well, almost. It took a couple of recorded letters and small claims threats but they have agreed to replace the leaking radiator for me at last. The only problem is that now I can't ride it down there.

Anyone want to borrow an S4RS and take it from Islington to Twickenham for me?

I'd love to but I know I'd want one after riding it about ten feet up the road.

Not after it dribbles engine coolant over your right knee.
