Hi all!
Hi, been away from forums for a while, I was on Ducatisti for ages but it seems to have ceased to be.
My username on there was Tiny30. A quick question for you all, has anyone looked into or indeed actual completed the excercise of shipping your beloved bike to the other side of the world? Stuck in a quandry as I am moving to Perth, WA and struggling to comprehend selling my S4R. I LOVE IT! Bikes seem to be expensive in OZ, especially second hand market. Any help appreciated. Rich |

They would be as they attract a fairly heft GST on new.
If you're shifting a lot of stuff then get a share in a container and ship the bike out in that. If it's just the bike and a few odds then buy some space off of someone else moving out. Importing as I remember didn't look to be too much of a hassle (nearly moved out there myself so I did look at shifting bikes and cars).
