sorry if i caused a bit of confusion here,

I am trying to sort out a problem with the way this site displays my details, it says i am a guest and doesnt show my pic or anything, no matter what i do in my account settings i cannot get it sorted, the gobbledegook typing was just random text to post to see if my changes worked. (they did'nt so i have given up)

Any change you make and that works will show on all your previous posts anyway, so you don't have to type more mess, just view the last one!

Andy the issue was caused a while back when there was a problem with the server or was it the Db, I don't remember anyhow the bottom line is you cannot do anything that will cure the problem without being a site admin, so I'm afraid you will have to wait for Slob to return from foreign pastures.

This has already been explained in your other thread

When Slob is available I'm sure he'll attempt to fix it for you - drop him a private message
