Mounting a Garmin Zumo 660 on a Monster 796
Hi,
Has anybody mounted a Garmin Zumo 660 on a Monster 796? And if so how did they go about it? I've got the Zumo on my current bike (a BMW F800GS) and was interested to see it it could be easily transplanted. Speaking to the dealer who is setting me up for a test ride on the 796, he sez that Ducati do their own dedicated sat-nav. Has anyone got any useful links or leads on said dedicated Ducati GPS? Apologies if this is a dead thread from long ago, I'm a total noob on the Ducati scene so I wont be offended if you just point me in the right direction to some other links. Thanks Carl |

The dedicated Ducati one is a Garmin 660, but more expensive.
http://www.ram-mount.co.uk/ for all the mounts. I just bought a ram mount for mine to clamp to the bar, though I have an older S4R bike. You can also change one of the bolts on the handlebar clamp, from this bloke, http://www.telferizer.co.uk
