Ducati Performance Kit
Hi all,
I have just bought a used Ducati Performance kit off EBay for my 800 S2R. It consists of two Termignoni cans, connecting pipes, ECU, and air filter. I beleive that its part number 96446205B. It looks fairly straight forward to fit, just wondered if anyone has experience of fitting this kit, and what they thought of it. Also can anyone recomend any good LED indicators and tail light. Cheers, John. |

Really easy to fit but you will probably find the bike runs better without the ECU to be honest.
As for LED indicators there are plenty ! Ive just got the motrax billet ones which are good quality. Nat |

Hi Nat,
thanks for the info. What is the reason for th bike running better without the ECU? Where did you get the indicators from? Cheers, John |

The DP ECU is quite a rude device and just raises the fuelling everywhere - fine for the track but not so good on the road. The bikes therefore tend to run a little rich with the ECU fitted and my S4R ran better without it (it only takes seconds to change so you can try for yourself).
My indicators are motrax - available from most of the bigger motoircycle dealers. Cheers Nat |
