oil filter

where is the oil filter on a 620ie as im changin it for a K an N one

Should be underneath the engine - the round black thing toward the front of the bike (please excuse my lack of technical terms! ). If you're changing the filter you may as well change the oil at the same time.

Seb, I'm pretty technical and I'd describe it as the round black thing under the front of the engine.

It sure is, but it's inset (well is on the 900) so you can only see about inch of it

All will be revealed when you drop the belly pan off

Make sure you have a strap wrench or adapter for a socket set to fit filter

Remember to undo it the right way - easy to get wrong looking from below
