Weekender, Saturday go-karting
After discussion with a few other members we have booked an indoor go-kart grand prix for Saturday afternoon 24th May at Mr Karting near Leamington Spa.
A pub lunch is being organised at a location that should be convenient for both those who want kart racing and those who want to visit the National Motorcycle Museum. The afternoon's racing will start with a safety briefing at around 2:45pm with driving starting at 3 o'clock. As with the event in 2006: Each driver will get 5 laps practice, followed by 5 x 8 lap heats. The top six drivers then contest a 12 lap final. The whole event should last around 2 1/2 hours and costs £30 each. If you would like to compete add your names to the list in time honoured fashion (please try and keep the thread on topic), thanks: DEFINITE slob POSSIBLE Last edited by slob; 21-04-2008 at 08:22 PM.. I would still rather watch Karting than participate - but let me know if you get stuck & short on numbers?
