starter problem
Hi my name is Rob
I live in Plymouth i own a Ducati monster 900. I wonder if any one has any ideas. I have,nt started her up for about 4 months. I bought a new battery and plugs but she still will not start. Could it be the petrol in the carbs ? I have a spark from both plugs and she always started 1st time before i left her too long. |

Could be old fuel, or just not enough power in the battery.
Ive just left mine for over 4 months and i had to charge the battery and then jump start her!! Yorkie. |

Fuel not getting through is my bet. Fuel valve/pump is vacuum operated so no sucky no runny. Try some easy start spray (or petrol) in the air box inlets to get her running thus creating enough vacuum to allow the fuel flow.
