Some of them - I've replied to a couple about bits we have for sale last night, but another couple I just cant, all I keep getting is 'database error please refresh the page you were on'.

this looks like a symptom of the issues we've been experiencing for the last few months. We really need to get onto a platform we can support without relying on favours from people who are very busy getting on with their lives.

Bit wide of the mark there Jerry, The problem is that a data file that links details to users has corrupted and is proving difficult to restore. This is not a reflection of Devstars or Stuart and Dimitri who look after our forum. Both are currently searching for a solution and will keep Benson and I posted on developments. We are certainly not going to move the forum. Ped

As a rule of thumb if the Members details in the little box on the left
hand side of the screen have no avatar and has "posts N/A" you will be unlikely to send PM's to them or receive PM's from them. This is due to a database corruption caused by (my lips are sealed) after speaking to Stuart today it is extremely unlikely this can be repaired. If any of the members/users are unable to PM his advise is to create a new account on UKMOC. Last edited by fatbloke; 03-03-2008 at 08:12 PM.. |
