Tyres!
Hi peeps,
I looks like I'm only going to get about 1400 miles out of the rear tyre on the S4rs , which is currently using Bridgestone BT 014's. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the BT 021's or the Michelin road 2's. Thanks in advance. Bert |

Never liked Bridgestones but have Michelins on my 1000 and they're ace. The 2CTs should give you better mileage

I have full confidence in my BT 14’s but their worn out and I was thinking of changing to Conti Sport Attack’s I don’t know if these will go farther than the Bridgestone’s but their 50 quid cheaper fitted.

Changed my BT014's (after about 5 pairs) for Conti attacks as I never fully trusted them in the damp. The Conti's give me much more confidence, and seem to be lasting longer too. I wouldn't change back now. |

Nessie had Dunlop 207s fitted when I got her, swapped for Pirelli Diablo Corsas, that lasted about 2500 miles (rear), then back to standard Diablos (about 5,000 miles from the rear), now onto Corsa IIIs Will let you know what they are like, as the bike hasn't moved since I got the new tyres fitted
My old Bandit had BT010s fitted, and they lasted well (about 6000 miles out of a rear tyre). Never had much problem adapting to Bridgestones or Diablos, didn't like the feel of the Dunlops (ok on my old prila, not on the Monster!). |

1400? or 14000 miles? If its 1400, I'd use a little less throttle....or stop doing burnouts!!
