Odd one?

For some reason my account appears to have been deleted, i couldn't log on and my email address wasn't being recognised.
I signed up for a new account, same user name, same password, same email address and it working fine although my post count has gone to zero.
If i search for all my old posts is just shows N/A under the user name.
Most odd.

Thanks for the tip off on this - exactly the same thing happened to me - except the last time I'd posted was a couple of weeks before Xmas 2007 - so hardly 12 months ago - more like 3 weeks!

LOL! This is supposed to be pruning, not purging

Removing people who haven't posted or even logged in for ages is right tho.

I think this could be more than a pruning issue, & perhaps an on-going problem with the UKMOC database? I'm sure someone will be along (complete with IT style anorak) to explain in more detail

I believe around the same time as the pruning exercise, the database went tits up, causing profile corruption, one symptom being an inability to recieve PMs and the

Posts n/a

issue. The admins tried restoring the db, but that didn't have the desired effect. I would guess that members exhibiting Posts n/a are screwed for all time.

I'll put my anorak away now Gary
