S4Rs Sports Tourer
My S4Rs has until now been mainly used for either commuting or thrashing around the local moors. This weekend, with both of my Guzzis off the road having jobs done to them, I had to press gang the Monster into being used for a camping trip and I was pleasantly surprised by its ability.
Plenty of luggage space for a weekend trip with the Ventura rack I've fitted and Famsa tankbag, plus it was really comfortable at 100mph cruising. It was even quite economical managing to get 10 miles per litre giving a theoretical tank range of 130 miles (I stretched it to 120 miles one time with just over a litre left). And it was obviously great fun when I got to the back roads. Who needs a VFR or Pan Euro? |
