Unhappy M900 engine

Hi all,

I'm looking for a M900 engine (explained here ) so if you could please keep your ears to the ground I would really appreciate it as I know how rare they are second-hand. The bike is a 1994 model, but is it possible to fit an engine from a later bike?

Cheers,

Paul

Cool

Thats a good price though, complete with all the gubbins!

It only took me 3 years to find one and that was without carbs!!

Yorkie.

Its worth the travel!

Waaaa!?!

Blimey, 3 years!!!! Really??

If that's the case then I might seriously consider it as it's the only one that has come up so far. Mind you, factoring in car rental, petrol etc it could prove costly

Thanks again for looking guys, will let you know how it goes

Maybe fly Easyjet from London for £25 and then smuggle it back in your hand luggage ?

Get it strapped to a pallet and shipped via a courier. Shouldn't cost more than £50. Try to find a local haulier doing a back-load with an empty wagon.

How much does a bike engine weigh??

50kgs tops?

50kgs, Edinburgh... (as long as it is strapped to a pallet), around £50 - £60 on a next day service.

Or make a weekend of it?

I'd be up for that.
