Smile Hi All new monster owner

Hi all ............just thought i'd post in here as i'm new to monster site.

I've had a few Ducatis in the past but never a monster. Hope I can contribute to the site. Struggling with the riding position on the S2R at the moment but will remedy this.

Ducati wise in the past I've had:

24 Horas (ask your dad)
Darmah
Darmah SS
851
748

Did a couple of seasons racing on a cbr400rr

A whole host of other bikes ......

Cheers ..... Gerry

Bars a bit to low and too far forward .... fine on quick bits but pain through town etc ..... I'm goin for risers (naff) or higer fat bars (cool) .... but ain't the S2r sweet!

Hey Gerry,

watch out for the Shandy bloke, he drinks too much and ends up painting all his stuff yellow!

Welcome btw!

Yep I agree the S2r is a great bike, but I am biased.

I am happy with the feel of the bike, it does feel just a bit of an effort to turn round town sometimes, but through the twisties its just fine.

Welcome Gerry,
Black - the best colour, looks good with the tangerine stripe as well.

Hey mate.

You can also fit the bars of a multistrada if you want to stay semi original, may have to cut 1/2" off each end and do give about an inch and a half height, someone else here suggested it and I did the mod and it worked a treat to be honest.

Have fun and see you soon.
