Ducati Manchester + Spareshack

I got my bike back from Ducati Manchester last Saturday.

They'd had it to do a 6000 mile service and bolt on a few goodies. Including, IMHO, a rather nice high level sil exhaust system, powder coat the swing arm, put on a pair of 10 spoke forged ali wheels and a few other (black) bits.

The bike's fantastic. Runing, sounding and looking great.

Thanks to every one at Ducati Manchester.

I was planning a tail chop (sorry JMo, I don't think it's gonna happen) but the pipes are quite a bit longer than they look in the promotional pictures And being high level they would stick out at the back too much and look a little odd if I did a chop. They still look, IMHO, much better than the rather fat high level termis.

Did I mention the great service I got from Stuart at Spareshack when I was sourcing the desired bling? Cheers Stuart.

I don't know how to make pictures small enough to be able to load them on here. Can any one give me some pointers? Or do I have to bite the bullet and buy some software?

After hearing them you'll probably be more convinced they're more mortar than silencer. I like 'em and they sound great

I'm really glad that you're pleased with your bike! I'm just sorry that it took so long for your front wheel to arrive. Unfortunately things like that are out of our control.

The main thing is that you're happy with the outcome

The bike sounded awsome when you rode off on Saturday and you must have been near the M6 before the sound of your exhaust faded away!

Hi Mr C.

The description fits.

The pipes are Sil though

How come I didn't see you though? Were you on your bike?

Very happy. The wind must have been blowing in the right direction to carry the sound that far.

I was in a Red Rover 75 Touring. I heard you coming, looking in my rear view and saw a Monster undertake a rather slow Black Merc ML hogging the fast lane

It's a relief to find out you were in a car and not on your bike. I thought I might have to get my eyes retested

And as for undertaking, I couldn't possibley admit to doing anything like that on a public forum
