Keeping it awake


Just posting coz I have bought a 1997 M900 and think the M900 forum needs to stay awake

That's a matter of opinion of course! Watercooled? Naah thanks, nasty ugly plumbing. Aircooled till I die, thanks!
(and my M900 produces more torque than your S4, so there! )

Not sure how you work that out? The mid range torque on the S4 is far higher then the M900 and M1000 come to that!

And...

...and I didn't see anybody passing an S4 (not even the r and rs did!) on the track day except those racing types who do Desmo Due or WSB or whatever its called nowadays.

The S4 peaks at around 64 ft-lbs of torque at about 7000 rpm, my 900 carb peaks at 69 ft-lbs, although to be fair it has been tweaked a little
