Bulldog Bash?

There were loads of monsters there last weekend, various ages/sizes/colours.
Were any of them owned by people here?

Does Stratford count?

I was in Stratford on Saturday with the very lovely Ruth, there were plenty of Bulldog Bash types about on their Harleys and Streetfighter type bikes and we spotted a dark in the car park of the leisure centre.

However, there was a particularly pretty Pink monster that sounded the dogs with a stubby 2-1 empty can.

And we all know who that belongs to don't we folks?

I was there!

And I raced on the Saturday too. My best time was 13.53secs for the quarter mile (when incidentally I slayed a guy on a Honda CB500).

I'm sure that in the hands of someone who is not a complete numpty the 620 could probably get in to the 12's.

It really is a great weekend and I would recommend it to anybody.

Well done for being brave enough to go down the strip! There was an older guy in the queue with a red monster, but we didn't see him run.
I'm too chicken to try, I'd be so nervous in front of all those peole I'd either drop it/crash it/hurt myself/make a complete prat of myself! so I sit sedately in the stands instead.

Oh you should really give it a go.

Two years ago I raved on my mate's old VFR only 4 months after passing my test. And the missus raced on the old Suzuki GS500 we had at the time (this was shortly before we got the monster).

Some young lad on a Gliera DNA 125 went down the strip this year (in about 21secs). So it really goes to show that at the Bulldog no-one really cares whether you make a prat of yourself or not!

I was in Stratford on Saturday afternoon (adjacent to the park - opposite MD's - the 'old' bike park).

There was other Monster there (a well used black 600) forgotten the rider's name (not a UKMOC member). A pink Monster turned up too, it had French plates, but was being ridden by a very masculine chap - it didn't work really...

At the New Inn (in Clifford Chambers), I saw a Monster decked out in Italian colours including the fairing and seat (I think it was a 900).

Hope you all enjoyed the weekend - you're alot less hassle than the hot-rods that turn up most weekends...

Regards
Andy

I was more concerned about his red boots clashing with the pink paintwork!

I'm intrigued now about this pink one, are there any pictures of it anywhere? I just can't quite imagine it!

Surely not "he who must not be named" The dark lord Yerbury. We thought he was cast into oblivion. Has he found a new body is he rising again? Set the moderators on him immediately. I`m off for a lie down.
